Fire Adapted Communities

Fire Adapted Colorado (FACO) is a participant in the national Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network.   The wheel graphic below is for information only and to be used as a guide to focus on more community resilience topics. We will not need to use all topics listed; and may come up with a few of our own.

“Fire Adapted Colorado (FACO) Network Participants have access to both public resources and resources curated specifically for the FACO Network.  Designed by mitigation specialists, FACO leverages connections to improve the performance and results of its members representing wildfire councils, watershed and fireshed  collaboratives, fire departments and districts; and county/local governments working on fire adaptation in their communities.”   - FACO website.

Ruby Ranch has applied under our local government, the Willow Brook Metropolitan District. All “FACO” information will be posted on the Willow Brook Metro District website to comply as a local government participating entity.

We will add categories to our website as we work on them.
